“Something
old, something new, something borrowed, something blue: twenty tales,
funny, sweet, erotic, poignant – from some of the best and
brightest writers in GLBT romance. Never has support for a good cause
been more delicious, more delectable than in this generous helping of
life – and love – affirming stories.”

“There’s
surely something here for every taste: man on man and woman on woman;
fantasy and funny and sizzling and sweet. Swans and Snow Queens and
salty sailors and slithering serpents, oh my! French Legionnaires do
it in the mud; little girls grow up married from childhood, and first
timers discover the magic ...”

Alleys and Doorways:Stories of Queer Urban Fantasies,
edited by Meredith Schwarz, Steve Berman and Rose Fox looks
interesting, with stories from familiar (Steve Berman, B A Tortuga,
Julia Talbot, Sean Michael) and unfamiliar authors. |

Little Ashes is a film about three world famous Spaniards: Salvador Dali, Federico Garcia Lorca, and Luis
Bunuel, who were students together in Madrid in the 1920s, and who were
friends and lovers. The reviews have been mixed, but the topic
alone is interesting: how many of our readers knew the connection
between these three? Once again, the het world hasn't let on that
these three brilliant men were gay-shaded. |
