by the editors
April 2010

The White RoadThe latest Lynn Flewelling is due out soon.  The White Road is a sequel to Shadows Return  and features the two 'Nightrunners' Alec and Seregil.  We're looking forward to it.  Flewelling can write compelling romantic m2m fiction.
Vreilhac ImageAnel Viz's historical m/m romance The Memoirs of Colonel Gérard Vreilhac is being published by DreamSpinner Press later this year.  Anel is a frequent contributor to Wilde Oats.

The charity anthology I Do Two! is a follow-up to the hugely successful I Do, an anthology of stories in support of gay marriage.   Several of our (Wilde Oats') authors will be published in this new collections, some for the first time, side by side with well known and popular m/m authors such as Neil Plakcy, Ruth Sims, James Buchanan and many others. Edited by Kris Jacen has been published in aid of the Lambda Legal Fund for fighting Proposition 8 which outlaws same-sex civil partnerships in California.  I Do Two!

-- Josh Lanyon

[author of the Adrien English Mystery Series and Man, Oh Man! Writing M/M for Kinks and Ca$h]

Alleys and DoorwaysAlleys and Doorways:Stories of Queer Urban Fantasies, edited by Meredith Schwarz, Steve Berman and Rose Fox looks interesting, with stories from familiar (Steve Berman, B A Tortuga, Julia Talbot, Sean Michael) and unfamiliar authors.
Little Ashes ImageLittle Ashes is a film about three world famous Spaniards: Salvador Dali, Federico Garcia Lorca, and Luis Bunuel, who were students together in Madrid in the 1920s, and who were friends and lovers.  The reviews have been mixed, but the topic alone is interesting:  how many of our readers knew the connection between these three?  Once again, the het world hasn't let on that these three brilliant men were gay-shaded.
